
Stores Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Level 5 Aerospace LLC Shipping and Receiving Stores Clerk reports to the VP & General Manager and is responsible for managing the incoming and outgoing flow of supplies within a warehouse storeroom, including receiving deliveries, verifying inventory accuracy, storing items appropriately, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring timely distribution of parts as per Level 5’s Repair Station Manual procedure. When performing receiving inspections, the Shipping and Receiving Stores Clerk will be responsible to the Chief Inspector and or Director of Quality.
Responsibilities

Ability to pass FAA/DOT required drug and alcohol program, to include random testing as required by regulations.

Receiving shipments: Unloading deliveries, checking items against purchase orders and packing slips, inspecting for damage, and reporting discrepancies to vendors.

Inventory management: Accurately recording incoming part items into the Sinex inventory and tracking system, monitoring minimum/maximum parts, and reporting deficiencies to the Store’s Manager.

Order fulfillment: Record and sign out parts and tools to technicians per their work cards and employee numbers.

Data entry: Updating inventory records, generating receiving documents, and creating shipping labels using warehouse management systems.

Storage organization: Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse storeroom, properly labeling shelves and bins, and rotating stock to ensure a first-in-first-out (FIFO) practice.

Communication: Collaborating with production and maintenance teams to understand their needs, addressing any stock issues, and notifying them of potential delays.

Quality control: Inspecting received items for quality and condition, returning defective parts to suppliers when necessary.

Compliance: Adhering to safety procedures when handling materials, operating forklifts (if required), and following company policies regarding inventory control.
